This is an original acrylic canvas painting of the Manchester Ship Canal featuring the oil refinery in the distance.
Painted on an autumn day it shows beautiful autumal colours along with a stunning blue sky and majestic looking clouds.
The painting shows the beauty of nature contrasting with the less attractive man-made construction of the oil refinery which created abstract reflections and patterns onto the water of the canal.
The painting featured in the D31 art galleries summer exhibition in 2022.
Painted on a stretched cotton canvas which is finished with a gloss based varnish, the canvas is fitted with d rings and string cord which is ready to be hung on a wall.
