Senior E-commerce Gallery Coordinator £35k

We are seeking a highly organised, process-driven individual to manage the day-to-day operations of our thriving online art gallery. This person will serve as the primary liaison between artists, customers, and the platform, ensuring smooth, timely, and high-quality service. The role demands someone with a technical aptitude, excellent customer service, a solid understanding of art, and meticulous attention to detail.

This role is fully remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Platform Management:
    • Approve and review new artist submissions (including profile completeness and Stripe setup).
    • Vet and approve artwork listings based on quality and content guidelines.
    • Monitor and manage transactions through Stripe, including artist payments and voucher processing.
    • Maintain up-to-date records of sales and payments for transparency and backup.
  • Customer & Artist Support:
    • Serve as the first point of contact for both customers and artists.
    • Provide clear instructions to artists (especially first-time sellers) regarding shipping and procedures.
    • Chase customers for delivery confirmation or review submissions.
    • Guide artists on pricing where necessary and appropriate.
  • Site Content & Features:
    • Manage "Featured Artist" and "Artist of the Week" rotations, including communications and development of promotional content.
    • Ensure the homepage reflects active and engaging content to encourage customer return visits.
  • Operational Oversight:
    • Monitor subscriptions and membership payments.
    • Ensure all user accounts are verified and within eligible countries.
    • Support resolution of delivery issues, disputes, and Stripe payment anomalies.
    • Manage annual membership fee processes tied to artist sales.
  • Digital Marketing via Social Media:
    • Coordinate regular social media content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok to promote featured artists and new listings.
    • Work with artists to develop engaging promotional posts and stories.
    • Monitor analytics and engagement metrics to refine strategy and grow the gallery’s digital presence.
    • Schedule campaigns aligned with site events, features, and seasonal activity.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Technologically confident – able to navigate web dashboards, Stripe.
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to follow process.
  • Customer-service oriented, with patience and diplomacy.
  • Knowledge or appreciation of visual arts.
  • Comfortable working independently and making informed decisions.
  • Experience with online platforms and e-commerce principles.
