Historically, the Old Market Square, right in the heart of Nottingham City centre, formed a meeting place for the people of Nottingham.

Menelaus and Agamemnon, the lions that guard the Council House steps were where my friends and I would meet up when I was in my teens.

It was also the place where my daughters chose to meet their friends.

This painting is a photographic representations of a scene made from stencils.

I try to keep to a limited palette of colours but as this is context driven by scene, changes within this criteria often happen. My original artworks are one of a kind and most of my paintings are large as the technique I use to produce them does not lend itself to working small.
