PLEASE NOTE: due to the large size of this painting, ONLY THE PAINTED CANVAS will be SHIPPED, rolled up very carefully IN A TUBE; therefore:
- a wood chassis is required to re-stretch the canvas;
- the canvas has a margin, all around the painted image, sufficient to fix with staples the canvas on the wood chassis;
- the edges of the canvas are painted so that, after being re-stretched on the wood chassis, the painting can be hanged out on the wall with or without a decorative frame;
- the wood chassis and any decorative frame are not provided and will not be supplied upon request;
- to re-stretch the canvas it is recommended to refer to a professional frame shop.

For this painting I used both painting brushes and palette knife to give to the subject its depth in space and its touch of impressionism and I used a stretched canvas and high quality oil colors.
Subject: an impressionist painting of a sunset in the Texas prairies; all around blue bonnets and other wild blue flowers in the grass; a near lake reflects the sunset light and the orange clouds in the sky.
