Description
Yr - Wyddfa and Garnedd Ugain in Snowdonia, North Wales.
This is one of my favourite places in Snowdonia, overlooking a glorious view of the Snowdon Massif. I used a variety of palette knives and thick paint to create the dark marks in the distant mountains, and sculpt their form with paint. The vivid winter colours and intense light were a real pleasure to paint.
This unframed painting continues around the edge of the canvas, and is fitted with a cord ready to hang straight on the wall.
