Lavender Sky Pale Fields Oil

While driving along a local road past large fields in the late afternoon, the sun was not exactly setting but getting on that way. The stubble field was very bright and pale illuminated by the sun. The sky was washed with pink, turning it lavender the pale colours were very attractive. I had to wait at traffic lights so had enough time to store the image to turn into this painting. Painted on my favourite Burnt Sienna ground, the composition is created with strong gestural strokes building up into an interesting texture .Presented with text sides left Lavender Sky right Pale Field . Signed bottom right edge, signed titled and dated on the reverse. Shipped with a track and trace identity packed in mostly recycled materials.
