Along the Roman Road Oil

Near where I live is a road called Roman Road, the fields on one side of the road are very large and open with occasional strips of scrubby trees. Some years ago the estate was purchased by the local council and designated for housing. The purchase was so long ago most people forgot about it, the plan has now bee activated and these lovely fields will soon be covered in houses. My painting is a personal record of a space that has not much longer to exist Painted on a burnt Sienna ground on surface and all edges and presented ready to hang. Shipped carefully packed with an artist’s certificate, dispatched with a track and trace identity.
