Description

Tulips are some of my favourite spring flowers and these lovely pink double tulips were a joy to paint.
The brushstrokes are clearly visible and the paint is thick in some places and thin in others. Painting has been continued over the sides of the canvas, so the artwork can be hung directly on the wall without needing a frame.
A satin varnish provides protection.
