Handmade Fused Glass 'Meadow' Picture.

This picture is a blaze of different colours. The flowers dominate the foreground and lead your eye into a much softer muted background.

It took me hours to position the huge number of flowers. Each flower was put on by hand using tweezers (a labour of love). The background glass colours were overlaid onto the reverse of the picture, giving a very slight 3D feeling to the composition and also softening the sky.

It took 3 firings in my kiln to ensure I had it as perfect as I could. I am very pleased with the end result. This picture is exceptionally eye-catching, crammed full of colours, and has a subtle contrast between sky and flowers.
