For a few days it was very cold with frosts that stayed all day. The coldness and hard ground inspired me to create this painting to symbolise an early start on a cold day when the welcome sun clears away the clouds for a bright day. Painted on a burnt Sienna ground , the surface is textured and vigorous, presented with text edges left 'Gentle Sun' right 'Chase Away the Clouds' . Ready to hang.
