Description
THIS PICTURE IS CURRENTLY IN AN EXHIBITION AND WILL TAKE TWO WEEKS TO DELIVER!
Handmade fused glass 'Highland Cow' picture.
This took me approximately 7 hours to make. The background glass is a wispy vanilla bullseye sheet. I then used a combination of: glass frit, glassline, glass sheet, and dichroic glass.
Once complete it was fired in my kiln at a temperature of 750oC. This takes 14 hours and allows the different glasses to gently melt and merge together.
Frame measures: 33cm square x 2cm depth.
Glass picture measures: approx 20cm square x 6mm depth.
There is a hook on the reverse for hanging.
Picture signed on reverse and front.
Each of my pictures is individually made. I never make two the same!
Highland Cows make incredible subjects for a picture. This one looks a bit questioning!
