Description

This is one of paintings featuring waves breaking on the shore. I took lots of photographs at Druridge Bay in Northumberland, focussing entirely on the movement, light and textures as wave after wave crashed down onto the golden sand. From these references I returned to paint this scene using oils on stretched canvas. I hope you like it.
