Artistic background

I am an artist from the North East of England. I graduated with a BA hons in Graphic Design in Newcastle and have previously worked in international video production, while still devoting time to my first love of painting and drawing. I am now a full-time artist with my work sold both in the UK and worldwide. My work has been featured in Northumberland and Durham galleries along with online presence.
I love to capture the wealth of the scenes that surround me, with much of my work taking inspiration from the North East of England – an area with an incredible history and magnificent beauty. I also enjoy observing and painting wildlife, some of which, along with some selected landscapes, are now available as high quality limited edition giclée prints.
I work in different media, but most often return to oil or acrylic on canvas or board, using brushes, palette knives and anything else that helps give form and texture to my paintings. Commissions are very welcome.
