Abstract Horse 12 (Sculptural) Resin

This is a unique portrait of a beautiful horse using EVA which is ethylene-vinyl acetate, a thermoplastic resin. The thick, glossy resin has been applied with a hot melt glue gun to the canvas in decorative, abstract segments which have an amazing sculptural quality. The vivid, striking colours include glittering gold and silver.
The clean white background has a rough texture which is continued around the edges so no frame is required. Two layers of varnish enhance the gloss finish.
A stunning piece of contemporary art using an unconventional but very effective technique.

The EVA can withstand temperatures of up to 75c so the horse is not going to melt down any walls! A soft feather duster will keep the painting clean.
