Description
Blue Himalayan poppies, or meconopsis, are very beautiful and ethereal plants that are notoriously difficult to grow in most British gardens but, if you are lucky enough to be able to grow them, you will be thrilled by their spectacular and unusual colour.
I painted the blue flower against an orange background, complimentary colours, to make it zing. The background colour continues around the edges so that it doesn't need to be framed.
