In Fragmented Self I explore the modern human experience through the lens of a man-machine figure, rendered in a combination of acrylic paint and Champagne Gold golden leaf sheets. It also includes foam sheets to create depth and a varnish touch.

The artwork is imbued with a sense of disconnection and fragmentation, reflecting the complex emotions of alienation and detachment, and emphasising the struggle to connect and find a sense of belonging in a world that often feels disjointed and chaotic.
