Description

A painting of a Nightjar in flight on a moonlit summer night. An original mono print with added mixed media of inks and acrylic. The title “Whippoorwill” is the folk name for the Nightjar, mainly in American folklore. Many legends surround the Nightjar, some positive, some not so.
I personally just love them and find it magical to watch quietly and listen to their churring on mid summer evenings.
