Artistic background

My Artwork interprets what I have discovered all around me, in several different styles and formats. I am inspired by the places I visit, memories, animals, nature and other creatives works. I paint and draw both representative and made-up scenes based on my surroundings. Abstracts, still life and natural forms also feature. My main medium is acrylic and coloured pencils but I like to experiment too with various other mediums and my style is generally quite naïve and quirky. I am drawn to strong bold colours, patterns and textures so incorporate these into my art.
I currently work from home as a full time artist in between dog walking/pet minding.
My main intention is to hopefully create artworks which would brighten moods or resonate with the viewer in some way. My appreciation of my environment and all that inspires me in life, is demonstrated through my work.
