5 years of art tuition at Barnard Castle school plus many years evening classes. And 2 courses on acrylic painting under Nabi Price at Newcatle on Tyne art centre. With over 20 years painting experience. Have sold 59 pictures so far on this gallery.

I paint purely for pleasure not profit so I keep my prices low and I do not paint pictures in series or groups but am more interested in variety of styles and subjects. Having said that I tend to favour landscapes of Teesdale. It is near my home and in my opinion is THE most beautiful part of England. I have always had a wanderlust and have toured Britain in 7 campervans and before that it was an old van and leaky tent. Many sketch books have been filled and many photos taken. I love it.

Interests

Apart from sketching and painting I love country walking. Unfortunately I am now too old for football, cricket etc.
