Artistic background

Originally from London, she worked as a successful creative marketing Executive all over the world and since moving to Norfolk paints full time after completing a Diploma in Contemporary Oil Painting at the renowned Norfolk School of Painting under the tutelage of acclaimed artist Martin Kinnear. She is inspired by nature, seascapes, big skies and beautiful landscapes locally and from her travels globally. Her creative approach evolves as the process of painting begins, an intuitive style comes into play using a limited palette. Instinct, colours and composition then guide the direction of her work, often with many layers of paint, glazes, expressive mark making and impasto.
