My background years at college were spent Studying A level Art, textiles, ceramics and photography ,moving on to Art and design college where my focus lead and inspired me into the visual display industry , interior design and eventually fashion.Quote
Growing up around the coastal area of Porthcawl and the Gower Peninsula , this was most certainly where my love for the seaside inspiration originated from .I guess over the years i have brought this seaside vibe into much of my career from visual window displays , home interiors and certainly was the main focus in my buying for my fashion boutique for over 15 years .
Oil Painting seascapes has undoubtedly always been my passion and now with the extra time i have to fully indulge in my pastime hobby i can bring this love for the coast and its seaside to canvas for all to enjoy .
Interests
Immersing myself as much as possible in everything coastal throughout the British isles and surrounding areas of my homeland in beautiful South Wales , i enjoy daily walks along the seashore with my dogs and riding my horses , this truly is a joy and certainly helps to focus the mind and leads to many new inspired art works created.Owning many rescued Horses ponies and donkeys who now live happily at home , This equestrian passion was also part of my child hood riding along the many beaches.
I now feel very privileged to finally have this opportunity once again to fully achieve my desire to oil paint and hope everyone who enjoys coastal art will indeed come on this journey with me as i create the visions i have held until now.
