Michael Lawrence

In my teens I left art school to become first a trainee graphic designer, then an assistant photographer in a graphics and publicity studio. From there I morphed into a freelance photographer in London, Paris and elsewhere, taking pictures of politicians, fashion models, pop stars and so on. I also took a great many pictures for myself alone. Many years later, I still take a lot of photographs for this audience of one, in many instances using digital software to embellish, recolour and transform my recorded images. Here on ArtGallery.co.uk, I'm showing (and offering for sale as limited-edition prints) images from both my personal archive of photographs and from my recent and current work. The great majority of these – the old and the new – have never been shown before.

Prints will be professionally made on heavyweight (260gsm) photo paper - gloss or satin, whichever the image seems best suited to. All will have an additional white surround displaying the title and in some cases the year the picture was taken. All will be signed.
