CongletonArtistic background
I have always had a passion for creative pastimes, but was finally able to indulge my love of painting on retirement from the Pharmaceutical Industry. I am inspired by the beautiful landscapes of North Wales where I grew up, and love the green and blue colours of the land and coastal regions. I have not had formal art training but have completed a number of courses, experimenting with watercolours and acrylics. My currently favoured medium is oils.Quote
‘I absolutely love it. Bought a watercolour of Bangor pier as a gift for my dad as we'd always go there when he visited me at university, and I can't wait to see his face when he opens it at Christmas. It's really beautifully done, and captures it perfectly’‘ A really lovely piece of original art that was despatched quickly & exactly as described. Very happy.’
‘ The painting arrived safely this morning and I am delighted with it. You really are a talented artist and captured the peak landscape really well…..’
‘ Just to let you know, the painting arrived safely and it’s wonderful. Thanks again.’
Interests
I love walking in the countryside, where I find inspiration for my paintings. I also love music and belong to a choir, which is good for the soul. When I have time left over I enjoy pottering about in my garden, especially when the sun shines!Accepts Commissions?
