Caroline O' Farrell

Artistic background

I am an artist based in County Longford, Ireland, where I work from my studio. I was born on the shores of the Wild Atlantic Way in Easkey, County Sligo Ireland. I love life, gardening, Interior design and walking in the countryside. I have always had a passion for painting. When I was young, I used to receive paints every year from Santa. Each colour was so beautiful, like the hues of a rainbow. I would sit at my parents' old farmhouse kitchen table and paint for hours.

I primarily work with vibrant acrylics colours. On some of my pieces, I like to add pastes and gels to create texture, applying them with brushes and palette knife. All my paintings are signed and come with a certificate of authenticity. I have participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions. Many of my paintings have found happy homes in different parts of the world.
