Sandra Campanella

Artistic background

I was born in Italy in a small town near Pavia (Milan) 55 years ago, my parents came from Sicily, this gorgeous Italian Island which offers great food and incredible landscapes.
I was spending every summer in Sicily as a kid and in my teens, this is where all my inspirations for life came from.
I started drawing for my grandma Maria, my cousins (as small gifts for them) and discovered my passion for painting and art in general.
Still as the food there in Sicily was so so good I also developed great desire to learn how to cook!
I moved to England with my brother Giovanni when I was 23 and opened my first Restaurant and than bakery and coffee shop.
I loved turning it into a very successful business for over 30 years.
Although I was very busy I always kept my passion for art and now being retired I can dedicate my time to it and to all of you.
