Artistic background

Welcome on my site.

My name is Iwona. I am originally from Poland but I have been living and working in England
for several years.

Art is a huge part of my and my families lives and has acompanied me from childhood.

For many years I have been drawing as a hobby. I started with pencil drawings
and then moved on to pastel and coloured pencil, practising many
different techniques. I have always loved nature and tried to capture its essence
in my work.

Recently I decided to try oil painting as its something my Dad has always done and I have many
memories or him painting. Its not an area I have really tried but have fallen in love with the medium.

The main topics of my drawings are animals, mainly horses and dogs.
I just feel that I have an affinity for these particular animals and derive a great deal
of pleasure from creating their images.

I have now decided to combine my passion with my love for animals
and I am looking to sell my drawings.
