ARTIST PROFILEMy name is Maarit Kallio, and I am a Fine Artist based in Fleet, Hampshire in the UK. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Kemi- Tornio Polytechnic, Finland.
My Nordic Touch
I was born in the Finnish Lapland above the Arctic Circle
and lived in Northern Finland for the majority of my life. My Nordic heritage and style are still visible in my work. I lived also India Bangalore two years, that effect also for my art works.
