Artistic background

I'm a Portuguese artist based in South West England.
I have exhibited across both countries in solo shows and as part of group displays.

My inspiration comes from my life experiences, my surroundings and emotions.
Most of the time I do not have a preconceived idea of what I'm going to paint/draw. I just let it flow and see where it takes me.

Through the relationship of colours, and shapes, rhythm and balance and the physical as well as the psychological act of painting, each picture develops into a unique piece to capture a corner of the wonder and the beauty of people, nature and the world I live in.
Doing art makes me feel alive and happy.
