Artistic background

I am a Chinese artist specialising in traditional brush painting, calligraphy, and mineral pigment techniques. From a young age, I have immersed myself in the study of Chinese brush painting and calligraphy, cultivating a deep understanding of these ancient arts over the past two decades. This long-standing dedication has allowed me to develop a unique style that fuses classical Chinese aesthetics with contemporary expression.
Working primarily with Chinese brushes on rice paper and using mineral pigments, my creations explore themes of nature, wildlife, and ancient legends. The fluidity of brushstrokes, coupled with the subtle interplay of ink and colour, is central to my work, reflecting a profound connection to both the materials and the time-honoured techniques passed down through generations.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of showcasing my artworks at prestigious venues such as the Mall Galleries, the Royal Opera Arcade Gallery in London, and the Delamore Art. These exhibitions have provided platforms to share the richness and beauty of Chinese art with a wider audience, allowing me to express the depth of my cultural heritage in a contemporary context.
