Toni Swiffen

I am an oil painter from lovely Norfolk in England. I would describe my style as modern Impressionism and I like my paintings to look realistic from a distance but to show more expressive brush marks when viewed more closely. Thanks for looking and I hope that something catches your eye!

Artistic background

I have drawn and painted all my life but took up painting more regularly after leaving a career in financial services. I started painting in watercolour in 2000 and then in oils in 2022. Although I did not go to art school, I have studied many books and taken part in quite a few online courses. I’m proud to say that I have sold many works to collectors in the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada and Australia and am excited to join Art Gallery UK here in 2024.
