Gavin Singleton

Artistic background

Gavin Singleton is an artist from Chesterfield based in Sheffield. Drawing and painting from a young age, he started first exhibiting his work while still at school at Buxton Museum and Art Gallery and the Great Yorkshire Art Show in Sheffield. He then studied Art and Graphic Design at college and worked as a stone mason for many years, creating beautiful designs that can be seen on memorials as far as the Isle of Man.

Gavin Singleton's work is inspired by the colours and movement of contemporary dancing, also taking inspiration from many places he has visited in Spain. Painting mainly with acrylic ink and watercolour, Gavin creates bright and modern artwork that lifts your spirit.
