Artistic background

I am a self taught artist working in both oil and watercolours. In my younger days travelled the world extensively as an apprentice and deck officer in the Merchant Navy, which probably accounts for my preference in painting marine and coastal scenes. I have had paintings accepted by the Royal Society of Marine Artists exhibiting at the Mall Galleries.
