Artistic background

I am a qualified visual artist who lives and works in London. My artistic practice is driven by curiosity and exploration, and I do not limit myself to a single style. Instead, I enjoy working across a variety of themes and visual languages, experimenting with form, shape, colour, and composition.

Part of my practice involves studying the beauty and harmony of Islamic ornamentation. These patterns are known for their balance, rhythm, and intricate geometry, reflecting a timeless visual language that celebrates unity, symmetry, and spiritual contemplation. Through colour and composition, I reinterpret these ornamental traditions in a contemporary way while maintaining their sense of harmony and elegance.

Alongside this, my work also includes conceptual text-based art. I use text as a visual element because writing is one of the most personal forms of human expression. In many of my works, the text is intentionally unreadable, allowing it to function both as language and image. Through these layered writings, I often reflect on personal experiences and truths that are difficult to express openly or that may not easily fit within social expectations.

At the same time, I intentionally leave space for the viewer’s interpretation. The colours, compositions, and textual fragments invite multiple perspectives, allowing each viewer to form their own connection with the work.

If you are looking for original contemporary artwork that combines thoughtful concepts with simple yet distinctive visual compositions, I invite you to explore my work more closely and experience the individuality behind each piece.
