Artistic background

Gary is a Reigate-based impressionist abstract artist and loves painting flowers.

I took up painting not too long ago after nearly losing my life to Covid which is another story. I tried several methods of painting until I experimented with mixing my own heavy-bodied acrylic paints to a thick consistency which gave a 3D effect to my paintings which I loved. I mainly paint with pallet knives and other artist tools which gives a unique and unusual finish to my paintings.

Each pallet knife stroke lifts the paint off the canvas sometimes as much as an inch depending on the size of the canvas, which makes the paintings incredible to touch as well as to view.

All of my paintings are created in my art studio at home in Reigate.

All my paintings are one-of-a-kind originals with no prints or copies available.
