Codex Drawing

This artwork is created with a complex pattern of shapes which continue to evolve from earlier work. Inspired by certain forms and rhythms found in nature observed at high magnification, the process of repetitive color hues and shapes on a horizontal layout creates an image which vibrates with different rhythms and changes according to the angle, distance of view and different types of light that falls on it.
This artwork is created with a ten tone/shades of grey and mixed warm and cold hues which also change with different light.
Drawn with pens/brush with inks that are of archival quality/fade resistant with the maximum light fastness rating,acid free and waterproof on 50x70 cm (19.6x 27.5 inches) 170gsm acid free paper. It has a 2cm white border all around it.
