This large-scale colour study comprises eighteen individually painted beechwood panels cut into eighteen dots and reassembled keeping the ombre in order.

The paint is carefully blended to a fine enough consistency that it soaks into the birch ply surface leaving the sheen and texture of the wood grain to show through the colour. The stripes are kept in order so the movement of the woodgrain follows one to the next creating a soft movement through the artwork.
