Description

This is my first painting of a lion. Lions are powerful and majestic animals and I wanted to capture that in this painting. The eyes of the lion really draw you into this painting. I really enjoyed capturing all of the intricate details of the fur and the features on the face of the lion. . The painting has been varnished with Liquitex gloss varnish. The edges of the canvas have been painted black; therefore it can be hung on the wall without framing.
