Description
For a while now I have looked at this painting, and not bonded with the essence of why I painted it. So in a true artistic tantrum a got the pallet knife out and repainted over it. This painting has had a Renewal of sorts and it delves into the transformative power and the mysterious allure of the black horse. This painting is emblem of rebirth, new beginnings, and the profound depths of the unknown. Set against the backdrop of a landscape in the cusp of transformation, this painting portrays the black horse as the harbinger of change, its presence both a shadow and a promise. The horse stands boldly in a field that bears the scars of the past yet shows the tender shoots of new life sprouting forth, symbolising the cycle of death and rebirth that defines our existence. It speaks to the essence of rebirth and the dual nature of endings as precursors to new beginnings. With a gaze that pierces through the veil of darkness, the black horse invites the viewer to embrace the unknown, to close one door so another may open, and to find in the depths of night the seeds of a new dawn. It is a powerful representation of the cycle of life, the resilience of the spirit, and the unending dance of light and darkness that weaves the fabric of our lives.
