SUNSET OVER GALLINARA Watercolours

This is an island in Liguria offshore from the mediaeval town of Albenga. Gallinara and its surrounding waters is now a nature reserve but in the past was once the home of a hermit and even a prison. It has an unusual tortoise shape. This was the scene on a cloudy evening with rays filtering through the clouds as the sun was going down.
The painting is Winsor and Newton watercolour paints on cold pressed, acid free, 300gsm watercolour paper. Ready for your own choice of mount and frame, the paper is A3 size as detailed below. The original artwork comes with my signature on the front and a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
