Description
The best time to walk through the Muker hay meadows in Swaledale is between late May and early July. You follow a path through a sea of wildflowers within the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
I've tried to capture some of its beauty on this real, preserved oak leaf with acrylic paint. This tiny painting has been sealed with varnish and carefully glued to a canvas mount board with acid free adhesive.
The leaf, which is only 5" high is framed in an A5 box frame.
