A recent visit to Oia in Santorini was the inspiration behind this piece. The glorious sunsets that can be seen from Oia are world renound and the opportunity to witness it and then capture it in paint was an opportunity I could not miss.
I sought to capture the glorious colours and soft light as it reflected on the open sea and onto the beautiful Oia architecture.
Oil paints allow this to be captured like no other medium.
