An original watercolour picture in landscape format, on Frisk NOT watercolour paper 140lbs.
An orange sky dominates 2/3rds of this picture. A white sun rises above the darkened horizon which rapidly desends into flame red patches, hence the title.
The inspiration for this picture came from some of Paul Rothko's post war abstract works.
