Description

This abstract rose painting is created in acrylic on canvas in an expressionistic style, it is varnished for protection and ready to hang. The roses are very textured and created using gesso and heavy paints and they are in shades of purple, pink, and yellow against a yellow background. I also added a table and a chair to balance the composition. I wanted to create a vibrant, colourful artwork in complementary colours, purple and yellow.
