Cuillin Ridge is an impressive range of mountains on the Isle of Skye. Yes our artist has been climbing those magnificent mountains is search for inspiration and she found loads of beautiful views. This particular view is form Sgurr Alasdair towards the summit of Sgurr Dearg and the famous Inaccessible Pinnacle. what made the artist pick this perspective of such a massive range? it was the reach colours of the dark rocks and light scree broken to semi dust and creating some amazing lines on the mountains. The ever-changeable weather is also expressed through the soft clouds that were coming and going around the summits and making some spectacular dance before they disappear again.
This stunning artwork, painted in loose yet realist style would be a great present for any mountain lover as well as anyone who appreciate well expressed landscape to loose themselves in.
