Description
Spring colours in the Vexin region of the Ile-de-France in the Val d'Oise, taken en route to a fact finding visit to Normandy in April. I saw the avenue of trees together with the oil seed rape and wanted to find away to record this springtime view as there was nowhere to stop safely on the fast dual carriageway road leading to Rouen in Normandy. On my return towards Pontoise I was able to find a turnoff which lead me to this avenue of trees with the bright yellow crop of ripening oil seed rape on either side, the little trees which lined the main road on the left contributed to the compositional balance.
