Sacré-Coeur Oil

I was blown away by the magnificence of Sacré-Coeur when I visited Paris back in 1999, so much so that I returned in 2006 for another look. This painting is an attempt to interpret some of the awe I felt as I looked up at this marvellous building.

This painting has been produced using artist grade oil paint on stretched canvas. A coat of professional grade art varnish has been applied to give a semi-gloss finish and protect the painting from dust, UV light and other environmental factors. The sides of the canvas have been painted neutral to match the painting, and the frame has been fitted with picture wire, ready to hang unframed. The painting is signed on the front and will be shipped with the Certificate of Authenticity.

The painting measures 24 x 36 inches (61 x 91 cm).
