Fabulous Frida Acrylic

This is the latest addition to my collection of portraits of inspiring women: The amazing Frida Kahlo, the renowned Mexican painter. Her work reflected the Mexican culture and also documented her personal challenges with health and spirituality. She was fervent and political and her relatively short life was marred by sickness and injury which eventually led to her premature death.
I admire her as a colourful, fascinating figure and that is how I have portrayed her in this vibrant painting. The work was done in acrylic on canvas size 60 x60cm. The background is very vibrant and ornamental and enhanced with gold paint.
The artwork is sold unframed and ready to hang. All of my paintings are carefully packed and dispatched within five days of receiving orders.
