Description
I painted this preserved oak leaf with a beautiful winter scene I captured on my phone last year. It was one of those freezing cold, blue sky days that take your breath away. We were walking down from Leyburn Shawl, looking towards Penn Hill in Wensleydale.
I've used acrylic paint and finished with two coats of matt varnish.
The leaf is secured to a canvas mount board with acid free double sided tape. It does not touch the glass in this A5 deep box frame.
The leaf measures just shy of 6".
