Description

Acrylic Painting of Silver Birch trees after snowfall. On stretched canvas and unframed. 14" x 18" x 1"
After a snowfall, I walked through local woodland and was captivated by the Silver Birch trees that concentrated with the cold intense blue of the winter sky. After making a few sketches I decided to paint part of the scene while still fresh in my head. It took me a little longer than I thought to complete it, but I hope you like the finished result.
