Description
Nola in Campagna is one of the oldest Italian cities. The eruption of Vesuvius caused inhabitants to leave behind much pottery and artefacts. The foundations of their buildings are preserved among the mud left by the eruption:
this is an imagined reconstruction of Nola based on ancient texts.
